This beautiful oak lazy susan design is a departure from our other chopping boards and lazy susans with their signature rounded edges. This simply elegant wooden lazy susan has sharp clean lines and no groove option. As there is less work in making it than our other designs it should appeal where budget is a priority. Despite this, its stylish and practical design is sure to become the centre of attention on your table.
These wooden lazy susans are hand made from full-length stave English or European oak and are available in two sizes – 30cm diameter and 38cm diameter, and are 1.8cm thick. The platters are fitted with a high quality bearing allowing them to freely rotate 360 degrees. The base of the bearing is fitted with protective feet to prevent damage to table tops etc.
Although a simpler design than our standard wooden lazy susan, there is no compromise on the personalised engraving available. You can add your own special message to the face of the lazy susan and/or have the underneath engraved, or further personalise it with a design from our range of 2D and 3D motifs. We can also create your own unique personalised cipher.
Your Lazy Susan will be thoroughly treated with a blend of organic plant oils and waxes providing a natural finish to the board. The finish is food-safe and provides resistance to household substances such as alcohol, fizzy drinks, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water. To maintain the beauty and durability of your wooden lazy susan platter we recommend it be periodically treated with Osmo TopOil®, or any food-safe Danish oil should also provide the appropriate protection.
